The QEP office works with faculty and their chairs each semester (fall, spring, summer) to identify courses that have Expose-Explore-Express activities.  We select a representative sample of students from those sections, and faculty submit their students' work.

We also work with faculty, staff, and advisors to identify places where students are engaged in Explore and Express activities outside of the classroom - through campus clubs, independent projects, internships, etc.

The QEP Assessment Subcommittee assists with assessment each May using QEP rubrics

Q: Can I submit more than just papers for assessment?

A: Yes. Many types of assignments – formal writing, informal writing, poster pdfs, projects, journals, field notes – are appropriate for assessment as long as they are of sufficient depth to be assessed by the QEP rubrics. The QEP office is happy to answer additional questions about assessment.
